1. Who can join the walking tours?
The walking tours are open to everyone, from beginners to experienced walkers. Each walk is rated by difficulty (easy, moderate, difficult). If you’re not sure which walking tour is right for you, feel free to contact me!
2. Do I need special gear to participate?
Yes, to ensure safety and comfort during the walking tours, I recommend having appropriate basic gear, such as comfortable walking shoes, technical clothing, and a comfortable backpack. The equipment you need varies by season.
However, it’s always a good idea to bring a bottle of water and some snacks. In warmer weather, it’s best to bring a hat and sunscreen, while in colder weather, it’s advisable to always bring a rain jacket and a windbreaker.
3. How can I book a walking tour?
You can book a walking tour directly on our website in the dedicated section "walking tours". The booking process takes place directly on my site: choose the tour, add it to your cart, and check out just like you would on any other online store. The day before the tour, I’ll contact you on WhatsApp to provide you with all the necessary information.
4. Tour cancellation due to circumstances beyond my control.
Unfortunately, there may be times when the event is canceled due to circumstances beyond my control (such as weather alerts). In this case, the tour will be canceled, and you will be offered a choice between these two options:
- a full refund of the amount paid;
- rescheduling the tour for another day.
5. What is your policy in case of bad weather?
Safety is my top priority, and I regularly check the most up-to-date and accurate weather reports for the area where the activity will take place.
If weather conditions do not allow for a safe excursion, I will notify you of the activity’s cancellation. In that case, alternative dates will be offered, or, if you are unable to participate, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. A brief rain shower or a day of hiking with inclement weather (within safety limits) is generally not considered a reason to cancel the activity.
6. Do you offer customized tours?
Yes, I organize customized tours upon request, for both individuals and groups. I can create a tailor-made itinerary based on your preferences and fitness level. Contact me for more details and to plan your custom adventure.
7. Can I bring my children or my dog on the hikes?
Of course! Some of the hikes are particularly suitable for families with children or for those who want to bring their dog.
