Guided walk with organic wine tasting (optional) to discover Bologna's gullies: spectacular clay geomorphological formations that create fascinating labyrinths of ridges and channels. The route winds through the Gessi Bolognesi and Calanchi dell'Abbadessa natural park in the rolling hills of Bologna, just outside the city. These are places rich in history and culture and with tremendous natural charm.
Along the route, you can admire breathtaking landscapes and listen to the legends and stories that characterize these places, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. For lunch, we will eat our packed lunch near the Dulcamara farm.
For those who are interesting in wine tasting, after the walk we will stop at the Tomisa estate: a journey through the flavors and aromas of wine, where tradition, passion, and innovation meet to offer an unforgettable experience. We will discover the secrets of winemaking, from the vineyard to the glass, and the story behind each bottle.
Specifically, the tour includes a visit to the winery, starting from the beautiful panoramic terrace and then going down to the cellar to visit the actual production area. We will taste two white wines, a rosé, and two reds. The food tasting is accompanied by a platter of local products, usually cold cuts and cheeses, but you can choose a vegetarian alternative.
Meeting Point: At the bus stop located near "Pasticceria Santo Stefano"
To get to the starting point of our walk, we’ll take the 101 bus toward Imola, and once the wine tasting is over, we’ll take the 918 bus back to Porta Maggiore.
